She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Elsifor and Rita Elsifor (Tice); her spouse Allyn J. Thurston; and her siblings, Lewis Elsifor, Jr., Shirley Wilkinson, Rita Carter, Coralle Konesko and Nancy Meadows.
She is survived by: her sisters, Juliann Hatfield of Lakeland, MI and Ruth Hall (Keith) of Smyrna, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
