She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald R. Chapple and Suzanne E. Chapple (Bann); her granddaughter Amelia Whitehouse (Dana); and her sister-in-law Linda Chapple (Susan Gravelyn). She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Dietrich; her children, Dana Whitehouse (Goethel) of Ypsilanti, Erica Clark (Ashlea) of Ypsilanti and Matthew Goethel of Ann Arbor; her granddaughter Penelope Whitehouse; her brothers, Wade Chapple (Esmerelda) and Scott Chapple; and her stepchildren, Lindsay Barnard (Michael) and Matthew Dietrich (Emily). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
