She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Poynter and Joyce Poynter (Laskey); her stepfather John Velner; and her sister Colleen Rice (Larry Maddin). She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia Potter and Gail Stockard (Robert); her niece Theresa Cook (Ryan); her grandchildren, Kelsie, Skyler, Maliah and Karson; her brother Andy Clemons (Patty); her nephew Tony Clemons (Jamie); her niece Nikki Clemons; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Cody Pegg, Noah Pegg and Hunter Clemons; her stepmother Fran Poynter; and her siblings, Claude Poynter (Patrice) and Susan Bartz (Brian).
