He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Miller and Vivian Miller (Stout); his wife Verda Millering; his daughter Diane Miller; his son-in-law Jack Kokx; his brothers, Dick Miller, Doug Miller, Conway Miller and Tom Miller; and his close friend Betty Kilts.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Miller-Kokx and Vance A. J. Miller, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jessica Atwood (Jordan), Nicole Krikke (Ryan), Autumn Miller, Ashlynne Miller and Vance A. J. Miller, III; and his siblings, Bernie Miller (Jeanette) and Darlene Williams. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, one great great grandson.
