He is survived by: his wife Sharon Vander Wel (Follett); his sons, Dennis Vander Wel (Ellen) and David Vander Wel; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Vander Wel, Rose Engel, Dennis Vander Wel (Robin) and Davy Vander Wel; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Miliusis, Charlotte Engel and Levi Vander Wel; and his brother Wayne Vander Wel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
