She was predeceased by: her husband Charles A. Deater Jr.; her son Mike Deater; her children-in-law, Theresa Deater and Ralph Smiley; her granddaughter Renee Deater; and her brothers, Ralph Goff and Frank Goff.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Smiley of Applegate, Michigan, Charles L. Deater Sr. of Muskegon, Roxy Lattin (Ken) of Grand Haven, Don Deater (Lisa) of Florida and Cindy Blamer (Tony) of Fremont; and her daughter-in-law Laurie Deater of White Cloud. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
