She is survived by: her spouse Edgar William Portell; her sons, Richard Portell (Diana) of Grant, Harold Portell (Lisa) of Grant and Charles Portell (Mary) of Kent City; and her stepchildren, Mary Ann Ransom (William) of Branch, Janet Smith (Jack) of Florida and Greg Peets (Carol) of Newaygo. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
