It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Richard Van Alstine of Grant, Michigan, born in Lakeview, Michigan, who passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Van Alstine. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Van Alstine (Van Westrienen); his children, Cheryl Taylor (Andy) of Chippewa Lake, Tim Van Alstine (Pam) of Hersey, Karen Van Alstine (Torry) of Mt. Pleasant and Sally Cavender (Justin) of Barryton; his grandchildren, Luke, Lauren, April (Zack), Levi, Ashley (Raymond), Courtney (Tommy), Lacey (Michael), Kevin, Michael, Sarah (Jake), Peyton, Virginia and Rachael; his siblings, Brian Van Alstine, Nancy Holdsworth (John) and Shery Rubicz (Mike); and his close friend Tinna Baumgardner. He is also survived by his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
