He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Welch and Eva Welch; his brothers, Lyle and Vernon Welch; and his brother-in-law Waymon Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Welch; his children, Melinda Ream (Dale), Eva Ivory, Lyle Welch (Crystal) and Karen Cole (Tony); his grandchildren, Janice Lapenna (Dan), Joshua Ream, Jacob Ivory, Kyle Welch, Michael Cole (Andrea), Katie Maddox (Patrick) and Melissa Cole; his great grandchildren, Zach Terbeek, Aubree Terbeek, Kylie Lapenna and Weston Glassner; his siblings, Wayne Welch, Frieda Kent, Linda Long and Ronald Welch; and his sister-in-law Barb Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
