He is survived by: his wife Jean Kirkland (Bryant); his children, Mark Podbregar (Michelle) of Allegan and Julia Wright (Michael) of Belding; his grandchildren, Kendra Podbregar, Emily Haan, Brayden Podbregar and Tyler Kirkland; his brothers, Michael Podbregar (Barbara) and Paul Schmeichel (Gail); and his niece Amber Podbregar.
