We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2023, at the age of 95, Joan May Gitchel (Grant, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Clinton; her son James; her grandchildren, Sarah Gitchel and Jordan Gitchel; her children, Elizabeth (Jim), Billie Brandt (Michael), Hattie Jo Austin (Robert), Clint Gitchel, Jr. (Jeannie Moseler), Douglas Gitchel and Jodie Alexiev (Stefan); her sister Dr. Gertrude Crum; and her grandmother Joan Gitchel. She was also cherished by 6 children, 33 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
