He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Beard and Leona Beard (Barron); and his daughter Tammy Beard VerSluys. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Clay Beard; his son Zane Beard (Joanne); his grandchildren, Jeremy VerSluys (Stacy), Dan VerSluys, Ashley VerSluys, Paul Beard and Lisa Beard; his son-in-law Dwayne VerSluys; and his sister Judy Ballew. He is also survived by 4 step-children (and spouses), 9 step-grandchildren, and 1 great step-grandchild.
