He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Stults (Eva) and Ruth Stults (Croff); his children, Cynthia Batchelor, Cheryl Fisk (Greg), Tim Stults and Jacob Stults (Cassie); his sister Donna Carey-Stein (Dennis); his son James Stults; his granddaughter Emma Jean Rector; and his siblings, Jimmie, Donald, Ronald Stults and Bonnie Sloan. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
