He is survived by: his children, Robert Muir of Grant, Rebecca Goh of Grand Rapids and Nancy Muir of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Ashley, Benjamin and Daniel; his great grandchild Audrina; and his brother Thomas Muir (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
