He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Leroy and Lucille Fern Modlin (Eastridge); his siblings, Murray Robert Modlin, Carl Leroy Modlin and Jane Sue Jantzi; and his sister-in-law Opal Fleck.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Modlin (Sullivan); his children, Cynthia Kay Mikowski (Richard) and Gary Joseph Modlin; his grandson Derek Mikowski (Jenelle); his great grandchildren, Lincoln Mikowski, Emelia Mikowski, Jamie McCarrick, Luna McCarrick and Koda McCarrick; his brother Guy H. Modlin (Carolyn); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Modlin, Don Jantzi and Don Fleck. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a Memorial Donation in Gary's honor to Northland Church of Christ.
