He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his sons, John Ausema (Tatiana), Mike Ausema (Susanna), Dan Ausema (Margaret) and Mark Ausema (Tracie); his brother Cornelius Ausema; and his grandchildren, Caleb Ausema, Jasper Ausema, Levi Ausema, Calista Ausema, Anneke Ausema and Linnea Ausema.
