She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorn Hartel and Muriel Hartel (McIntosh); her husband Allan Ike Stern; her son Todd Stern; and her siblings, Don, Jack Hartel and Wanda Hicks.
She is survived by: her sons, Bart Stern (Kristi) of Sand Lake and Brett Stern (Shannon Sidebottom) of Sand Lake; and her grandchildren, Mason Stern (Samantha), David Stern (Kelly), Ashley and Kyle Morris. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
