He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hinken and Kate Hinken; and his brother Allyn Hinken. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Hinken; his children, Doug Hinken (Debra), Lori Spoelstra (Paul), Pam Schaafsma (Dan), Kraig Hinken (Tonya) and Kevin Hinken (Cathy); his grandchildren, Doug, Nathaniel Hinken (Genelle), Jared Hinken (Kacey), Rachelle Hammond (Dakota), Mallory Hinken, Lori, Sam Spoelstra (Tobi Jo), Max Spoelstra (Brianna Steiner), Maggie Spoelstra (Noah Lynch) and Pam; his great grandchildren, Jeff Schaafsma, Steven Schaafsma (Hannah), Emily Brauer (Carson), Kraig, Kevin, Jordan, Eden and Elliana; his siblings-in-law, Judy Hinken, Kelvin, Ellen Kronemeyer, Jerry, Carol Berghorst, Ron, Linda Kronemeyer, Tim and Pat Bosscher; and also, Hailey Menichini (Cory), Elizabeth Hinken, Brooklyn Hinken, Josh Hinken (Tesla) and Jenna Hinken. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
