She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Hinton; her parents, Matthew Smith and Catherine Smith; and her sisters, Margaret McLean and Lexie McCulloch.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Hosie, Margaret Overholt (Ron) and Catherine Remer (Curt); her grandson Ron Gorman (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Makenzi and Lainey; her siblings, Cathie Reid and Tom Smith; and her friend Liz McMenemy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Rosina, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
