He was predeceased by: his son John C. Meindertsma; and his parents, John Pietre and Catherine Jantena Meindertsma. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Rick Meindertsma (Debbie) and Kathi Vlachos (Paul); his daughter-in-law Lori Von Seggern (Wes); his grandchildren, Matthew Meindertsma (Trishta), Michael Meindertsma, Kari Ottis (Montana), Alexandria Meindertsma and Zoé Vlachos; and his great grandchild Adriana Ottis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
