He is survived by: his wife Renee VanderWall Griffen; his stepson Rob (Maria VanderHart); his stepgrandchildren, Marqus VanderHart, Monique, Christina and Junior; his brothers, Ed (Sue Griffen) and John (Helen Griffen); his siblings-in-law, Fred, Kathy VanderWall, Rick and Jonell VanderWall; and his aunt Bonnie Griffen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
