He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boogaard and Mary Boogaard (Zweedyk); his wife Darlene Boogaard; his daughter Vickie Boogaard; and his brothers, Edward, Claude, Bill, Leonard, Marve, John and Fred.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Riegling (Randy) and Ross Boogaard (Kristin); his grandchildren, Clint Riegling (Haelee), Jack Riegling, Mary Potter (Jordan), Seth Boogaard (Aspen Rice), Ben Boogaard, Leigha Zmudka (Tim) and Ava Boogaard; and his great grandchild Easton Potter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In honor of Ray, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emmanuel Hospice or Jenison Bible Church Missions Fund.
