Nettie Juanita Kikkert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nettie Juanita Kikkert (Grandville, Michigan), who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hurren and Rebecca Hurren. She is survived by: her husband Jim Kikkert; her children, Ryan, Kyle and Austin Schank (Mikayla); her stepchildren, Carrie Beall (Jason), Kevin Kikkert (Brittany), Tom Kikkert (Jenny) and Alisha Doezema (Eric); her siblings, Gerald Hurren (Susan), Kenneth Hurren (Tammy), Michael Hurren (Cheryl), Russell Hurren (Colleen), Patricia Schemansky (Rick) and Judy Holderbaum (Barry); and her pets, Buggs and Bo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was often referred to as the "Rock" and "Glue" that held the school together, especially through the Covid crisis.
In honor of Nettie, contributions may be made to Lake Haven Animal Rescue.
