It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Gary Alofs (Grandville, Michigan), who passed away on February 9, 2020, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bena, Gaylord Alofs, Joyce Carpenter and Bernard Veldkamp; and his nephew Cohen Kelly.

He is survived by: his parents, Gary Alofs and Laura Alofs; his sisters, Amanda Deemter (Daran), Heather O'Neil (Jon), Jennifer Jackson (Brett), Lacy Kelly (Nate) and Jamie Carter; and his nieces and nephews, Carter, Natalee, Beckett, Hayleigh, Layla, Remi Jo, Tristan and Madeline. He is also survived by uncle who spoiled his nieces and nephews, and a friend.
