He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Poelman; and his wife Joy Elaine (Carrick). He is survived by: his father Jacob Poelman; and his children, Kathleen Dykwell (Robert), Steven Poelman (Nalini), Lynda DeVries (Michael), Mark Poelman (Barbara) and Laura Poelman. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building) (4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
