He is survived by: his wife Jean Ilene Donze (Heidema); his daughters, Catherine Phelps (Joel) and Erin Donze (Marcus Hoefken); his grandchildren, Helena, Philip, Alex Hoefken, Jacob and Ava Phelps; and his sisters, Betty VanderBeek (Theodore) and Martha Johns (Bruce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and friends.
