He is survived by: his wife LuRita; his children, Terri Roelofs, Elizabeth, David Boerema, Heidi Shookman and Brenda Voorhees; his great grandchildren, Tricia, Luke McLaurin, Chris, Angela Roelofs, Andrea Roelofs, Jesse Hernandez, Justin Roelofs, Emelia Boerema and Elise Boerema; his sister Barbra Mannino; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry, Donna Gort, Ron, Violet Gort, Ralph Katerberg, Faith and Mel Heidsma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
