It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Van Vels of Grandville, Michigan, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alex; her son Jon Van Vels; and her siblings, Rev. Norman, Ruth and Sherwood Kok.
She is survived by: her children, Sue, Mike Pelton and Jeff Van Vels; her daughter-in-law Amy VanderMeer (Van Vels); her grandchildren, Jamie, Justin Bytwork, Josh, Jessica Pelton, Amanda Van Vels, Jared Van Vels, Aubrey Van Vels and Julie Van Vels; and her sister Carol (Jerry Velthouse). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
