He was predeceased by: his parents, Theressa Spoelman and John Spoelman; his sister Angie Steketee; his grandson Riley Spoelman; his daughter-in-law Theresa Spoelman; his parents-in-law, Jacob and Grace VanderSchuur; and his siblings-in-law, Jack, Eva VanderSchuur, Harold, Lory VanderSchuur, Marvin and Patricia VanderSchuur.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Spoelman; his children, Chari Brink (Brian), Dan Spoelman and Kurt Spoelman; and his grandchildren, Brandon Brink (Morgan), Brittany Brink, Stacey Pikaart (Ron), Tyler Spoelman, Aaron Spoelman (Iliana), Leanne Tabaczka and Kelly Spoelman. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
