He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Visser (Blok); his parents, John Visser and Jacoba Visser; and his siblings, Henry, Bernice Visser, Wilbur, Nellie Visser, Albert, Harriet Visser-Bolhuis, James Visser, Cornelia Visser Brouwer, Dick Visser and Lydia Mae Visser-Kamps.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Kamps (Don), Eleanor Vander Klok (Roger), Karen Kinnamont (Randy Stewart), Mark Visser (Anne), Barbara Visser-Dorwin and Dr. Thomas Visser (Sandra); his siblings, Elmer Visser and Margaret Visser Sinnema; and his siblings-in-law, Hermina Visser and John Kamps. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, loving in-laws; many nieces, nephews and friends.
