It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Bergakker (Grandville, Michigan), born in New Holland, South Dakota, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Will Maas and Dora Maas; her husband Laurence A. Bergakker; her children, Shirlene Meernik (Gary), Dennis Bergakker (Faith) and Doug Bergakker (Jeanne); her grandchildren, Lorene Senti (Thad), Marcy Brink (Jason), Sara Bergakker, Lee Bergakker (Becky), Abigail Bergakker, Amy Velik (Josh), Jodi Rupp and Josh Bergakker (Kari); her sister Dorothy DeHaan (Roger); and her siblings-in-law, Larry Bergakker (Geneva), Ruth Wierenga and Lavonne Maas. She was also cherished by 18 great-grandchildren.
