With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jayne Ellen Rinkus (Grandville, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerritt Lende and Ida Vander Lende; her brothers, David and Phillip; and her in-laws, Donald and Frances Rinkus.
She is survived by: her husband Don Rinkus; her children, Anthony Rinkus (Kim) and Peterson Rinkus; her grandchildren, Isabella and Giovana; her brothers, Gary Vander Lende and Bill Vander Lende (Kim); and her sisters-in-law, Frances Newell (Laurence) and Robin Baker (Gilbert). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 10:45 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building) (4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
