It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Joseph Elderkin (Grandville, Michigan), who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son William Elderkin; his parents, Harry Elderkin and Cecilia Elderkin; and his siblings, Ron Elderkin, Joyce Blok, MaryAnn Goode and Ed Elderkin.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Elderkin; and his children, Brenda White (Bill), Kathy Murray, Paul Elderkin (Mary) and John Elderkin (Renee). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In honor of Jim and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to San Juan Diego Academy in Wyoming, Michigan, or Faith Hospice.
