She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; her siblings, Herman Hoogewind (Senett) and Lillian Van Houte (Cornelius); her brother-in-law Theodore Rhoda (Norma); her nephews, Mike Rhoda and Rick Cnossen; and her parents, Tena Hoogewind and John Hoogewind.
She is survived by: her children, David Rhoda (Linda), Carol Kooienga and Kenneth Rhoda (Shelly); and her grandchildren, Heather Spyke (Jeff), Adam Rhoda (Liz), Eric Kooienga (Michelle), Curtis Kooienga (Ashley), Joel Kooienga (Ashley), Matthew Rhoda (Alyssa Ritz) and Macy Rhoda. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
