He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Batts; his parents, Hercil Sr. Batts and Henrietta Batts; and his sisters, Lavonne Visser (George) and Jacqueline Kuipers (Jason).
He is survived by: his children, Lori McPeck (Jeff), Sheri Batts, John Batts (Kandi) and Mark Batts (Thuy); his grandchildren, Jeremiah McPeck, Lucas McPeck (Jenna), Emmaleah McCullick (Collin), Joshua Burke (Chloe), Samuel Batts, Noah Batts, Joey Batts, Eli Batts, Isaiah Batts (Bailey), Benjamin Batts, Isabelle Batts and Abigail Batts; and his great grandchildren, Eden McPeck, Erdrick Burke and Rowan Burke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
