She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; her brother Robert; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Hewitt. She is survived by: her children, Sandra DeMeester (Harry), Kenneth DeWitte (Janet), Jack DeWitte (Sally), Richard DeWitte, Jeffrey DeWitte (Tamie) and James DeWitte (Michelle); her brother Stephen (Julia Lundberg); and her sister-in-law Mary Adama. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grandville Calvin Christian Schools with a designation for bussing.
