With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Edward Ruppert (Grandville, Michigan), who passed away on April 12, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mothers, Dorothy Ruppert and Marianne Ruppert; and his siblings, Evelyn Ruppert and Michael Ruppert. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ruppert of Wyoming, Michigan; his children, Jennifer Sheets (Tim) of Nashville, Tennessee, Adam Ruppert of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Amanda Hagen (Jon) of Wyoming, Michigan; his grandchildren, Toni Price (Kyle), Brandon, McKenzie, Logan, Colton, Addyson, Skylar and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Carter, Emerson, Aiden and Brently; and his siblings, Patricia Levandoski of Sparta, Jim Ruppert of Big Rapids and Bernadette Barbatano of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In honor of Gerald and in lieu of flowers, an important cause to him was mental health for military service members and their families, specifically with transitioning back into civilian life. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope for the Warriors (https://www.hopeforthewarriors.org).
