Gary V. Wells Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary V. Wells (Grandville, Michigan), born in Charlotte, Michigan, who passed away on March 25, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Wells and Eunice Wells; his in-laws, Edward and Jeanette Balyeat; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Osborn, Richard Watson and Margaret Balyeat.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Balyeat); his children, Rachel Heagle (Joel) of Byron Center, Aaron Wells (Diana) of Byron Center and Andy Wells (Andraya) of Grandville; his grandchildren, Brennen Wells (Kiera Welden), Ainsley Wells, Justin Heagle, Riley Wells, Ben Heagle, Lexi Heagle, Addison Wells and Al Wells; his sisters, Karen Watson and Donis Osborn; and his sisters-in-law, Janice Balyeat-Hansen (Eric) and Janet Balyeat (Paul Hansen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Community Church (3500 New Holland St, Hudsonville, MI 49426).
In honor of Gary, contributions may be made to Grace Community Church.
