He was predeceased by: his sister Wilma; his brother-in-law Arnold Hoezee; his brother Harvey; and his sister-in-law Linda Haverdink. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Spoelma); his children, Cindy, Peter Hanson, Carrie, Bruce Holstege and Greg Haverdink; his siblings, Hazel (Roger Hielkema), Gladys (Ken Hielkema), Jarvis (Alyce Haverdink), Joan (Bruce Quist), Roger (Sheryl Haverdink) and Rose (Don Poortvliet); and his siblings-in-law, Harriet Joyce, Tom VandenBerg, Darlene, Doug Oostendorp, Roger and Beth Spoelma. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
