She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Ponstein; her parents, Joseph Dworak and Sophie Dworak; her siblings, Veronica, Wanda, Steve, Wally, Marie and Virginia; and her husband Art.
She is survived by: her children, Rik Ponstein (Kathy), Dave Ponstein (Linda), Stanley Ponstein (Melissa) and Arthur Ponstein. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In honor of Evelyn and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids (2025 Fulton St. E, Grand Rapids 49503), or the Polish Heritage Society of Grand Rapids - Scholarship Fund (PO Box 1844, Grand Rapids, 49503).
