He is survived by: his children, Ryan Brower (Deanne) and Kelly Tompkins; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hailey, J. R., Ainsley, Autumn, Peter, Jase Tompkins, Amanda, Trevor and Kyle Pisoni; and his siblings-in-law, Karalee Doornbos, Karen Doornbos, Bryan Doornbos, Tammy Doornbos, Marlene Cooper, Dan Doornbos, Carolyn De Jong and Kimberly Steigenga. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Doug, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice of Grand Rapids.
