With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Jane Tamminga (Grandville, Michigan), who passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Tamminga; her parents, Andrew Sjoerdsma and Reka Sjoerdsma; her siblings, Ann Kunz, Alyce Holscher and Andy Sjoerdsma; and her sister-in-law Julie Sjoerdsma.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Ponstine (Jim), Donald Tamminga (Jenny), Dale Tamminga and Nancy Kremer (Tom); and her grandchildren, Mark Ponstine (Laura), Scott Ponstine (Betsy), Lisa Dykstra (Mark), Emily Tamminga, Kevin Tamminga (Ethel), Joshua Tamminga (Katrina), Daniel Tamminga (Natalie), Timothy Tamminga (Brittany), Jodi Tamminga, Mali Jane Tamminga, Kylee LaDuke (Matt), Travis Tamminga (Susan), Troy Tamminga (Julie), Emily Rinehart (Skylar), Bethany Belfield (Kevin), Daniel Kremer (Marissa), David Kremer (Anna), Lydia Tabke (Matt) and Anna Jacques (Luke). She is also survived by 40 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
