She was predeceased by: her husband Ron Baker; her son Timothy Baker; and her brother Gerritt Vandesteeg (Eileen). She is survived by: her children, John Baker (Kathy), Deb Stapley (Doug) and Elizabeth Srisomsak (Praymoun); her grandchildren, Meagan Wiersma, Brad Baker, Aj Vermeulen, Lyric White (O'Dean), Dan Stapley (Kerri), Rachael Brink (Zach), Serena Baker and Morgan Pridgeon; and her siblings, Al VandeSteeg (Cindy) and Ren VandeSteeg (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building) (4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
