David Joustra Obituary
We bid farewell to David Joustra of Grandville, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 29, 2024 at the age of 91. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Gloria (Don DeMaagd) and Arie Vanderheide. He is survived by: his wife Pat Joustra; his children, Diane, Greg Bouma, Doug Joustra (Shawna Burch) and Barb; his grandchildren, Brooke, John Flikkema, Casey, Rachel Bouma, Jamie Bouma, Nick Joustra, Meagan, Mark Dulyea, Ashley, Steve Giles, Kelsey, Mitch Pepper, Taylor, Jeremy Otto, Brittany and Jared Dykstra; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Hailey, Grant, Asher, Juniper, Olivia, Levi, Jameson and Lainey; and his sister Marlene VanderHeide. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Grandville Christian Reformed Church (4130 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
