He was predeceased by: his grandson Blake Friar; his great grandchild Oliver Tetro; and his brothers, Howard Gaunt and Roy (Carolyn Gaunt). He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Kathleen (Steve Spielbauer), Diane (Matthew Friar), Marcia Wilson and Brett Gaunt; his grandchildren, Danielle (Nathan Murphy), Kyle (Sylvia Friar), Abrey (Matt Tetro), Paul (J. Spielbauer), Emily (Russell Ankenbrandt), Katie (Matt Hohenberger) and Veronica Reyes; and his brother Norman Gaunt (Gerry Stockwell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (2350 44th St SW, Wyoming, MI 49509). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
