He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris Duimstra; his sons, Charles Duimstra and David Duimstra; his wife Josephine Duimstra; and his sisters, Patricia Orszula and Evelyn Plummer.
He is survived by: his children, Sibille, Jason LaMontagne, James, Lori Duimstra and Kim Duimstra; his stepchildren, Eric Dent, William, Leticha Dent, Lisa and Darby DeVoss; and his brothers, George (Butch), Pat Duimstra and Jack (Joyce Duimstra). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
