With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ruth Meringa (Grandville, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Sukup (Bob) and Marvin Meringa (Alice). She is survived by: her husband Morris Scheidel; her siblings, Debbie Smith (Frank), Shelly Cook (James) and Larry Meringa (Ruth); her children, Melissa, Amanda Mullins (Marvin), Jackie Royce (George) and Charlie DeLany (Beth); her stepchildren, Melisa Overway (Abram), Megan Telman (Andrew) and Hana Bielaczyc (Zack); her grandchildren, Jasmine Royce, Mercedes Royce, Matthew Mullins (Mercedes), Marvin Jr. Mullins, Maddox Mullins, Marshall Mullins, Karlie DeLany, Violet DeLany, Coral DeLany, Calista DeLany, Mason Bradner, Charles DeLany Jr., Maya Overway, Calla Overway, Russell Lubbers, Lillian Lubbers, Parker Urbanik and Kaitlyn Urbanik; her great grandchildren, Waylon of Tatum, MJ and Brooklyn; and her close friend Mike DeLany. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
