He was predeceased by: his siblings, John, Rog, Wilm, Ted, Dennis, Margaret, Gertrude, Gerline and Kathy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Tom, Patti Diekevers, Sherry, Mike Butterfield, Merrie and Doug Reamsma; his grandchildren, Joe, Kristin, Sarah, Matt, Sam, Danielle, Seth, Serafina, Luke, Kaylee, Levi, Mary, Lisa, Bryan, Dave, Amy, Emily, Jonathan, Jared and Brandy; his sister Sharon Morren; and his sister-in-law Marlene Paauwe. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eighth Reformed Church (841 Burton St SW, Wyoming, MI 49509).
