He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward J. Dempsey and Dorothy A. Dempsey; his wife Joanne E. Dempsey; and his children, Ila Culliton of Chesapeake, Virginia, Bruce W. Dempsey of Wayland, Chris Dempsey of Ludlow and Andrew Dempsey (Andy) of Breckenridge, Colorado. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
