It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Lee Schondelmayer (Grandville, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cole and Sylvia Cole (Robinson); her husband Bernard Schondelmayer; and her siblings, Waldo Cole (Fran), Robert Cole (Marie), James Cole (Shirley), Joanne Hysell (Bud) and Jane Thomas (Al).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Melissa Howard (Jim), Matthew Stoll (Amy), Rebecca Huberty (Brian), Travis Martinez (Charlie), Stephanie Dhar (Rahul), Tammy Everly (Randy), Shane McLellan (Jenny), Nathan Stoll (Erica), Elyse Paffhausen (Robert) and Mollie Doerr (Zach); and her sister Susan Walker. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's honor to Wesley Park United Methodist Church.
